THERE ARE NO VOLUNTEERS TO DO TEA ON 7TH DEC SO THERE WON’T BE ANY TEA.   We are desperate for more people to step up to do tea ; you should only need to do it maybe once per year. Please see Arthur Renshaw 07810 300025

  1. Xmas Lights run & party at Thornbury Cricket Club – Thursday 14th Dec

Be ready to run at 7pm from Thornbury CC. It will be a short run around Alveston to see the lights. Afterwards chilli and rice will be served with mince pies to follow. The cost of the food for Members will be covered by the Club. We need a few Group leaders on the night.   1. Annual Mince Pie Run around Wotton-Under-Edge – Sunday 17th December

This is provisional and is subject to somebody stepping forward to organise – I’m away this year. Usually 3 or 4 groups meet at the Chippings Car Park in Wotton. Different routes by each group who need a Leader from 08.00 onwards to be back at the car park for 11.00 for Mince Pies & Coffee. Rob Watkins will lead the ‘long’ group.

  1. Proposed junction improvements at Grovesend Road/A38

South Glos are seeking views on their proposals to make improvements at the Grovesend Road A38 junction. Through the improvements, they want to increase capacity at this busy junction to reduce congestion and delays. 

At the same time, they plan to introduce new walking and cycling paths, linking up with other proposed schemes to encourage more people to consider more active and sustainable ways of getting around. Please share your feedback on the proposals by completing this survey.
