One of our Members is running 12 different parkrun courses this weekend in aid of Winston’s Wish for bereaved children.
His message is below if you feel like making a donation.
Over this weekend of 4-5th September I am undertaking a running challenge across twelve local parkrun courses. I am raising funds for Winston’s Wish for bereaved children, which is a nominated charity for my Rotary Club this year.
I start at Chipping Sodbury event at 9am on 4/9 and run the 5km course. I then move on to courses at Wotton, Pomphrey hill, Mallards Pike, Lydney and Little Stoke. That concludes day one having run a total of 30km. I will be driven between the courses, not running! I may do Thornbury course at the end of day one to get ahead for day two, depends how I feel.
Day two covers courses at Cirencester, Tetbury, Stroud, Stonehouse, Thornbury and Berkeley.
Another 30km giving 60 km over the weekend, because I turned 60 in July. Hence 60km at 60!
I would be grateful for any publicity you could provide please. The link to my fundraising page is below.
Best Regards
