• Thursday 26^th Dec . Leisure Centre Closed. Optional un from top car park at 19:00 for those that want to. There will not be any Leaders though.

Just as a reminder to everyone – you need to wear hi-viz tops and have head torches if you are running with Groups on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  If you need more information read this…Head torches & Hi-viz vests The Club has a few hi-viz tops for sale (£4) or borrow if you forget.

1. Alveston Xmas lights Run & Xmas party – Thornbury CC Alveston Hill. Thursday 12^th Dec 19:00

 Run around Alveston to see the lights then party and food at the Cricket Club. Changing & Showers available. Meet at Cricket Club ready to run at 19:00.  Two Groups with locally resident leaders – Jim Godden for the faster lot and Moray Sloan for the rest of us.

Also Announcement of who will get the Club place in the London Marathon.

2. Thornbury Xmas Lights Run – The Leisure Centre. Thursday 19^th Dec 19:00 (usual Club night)

Run around Thornbury to see the lights then back for Tea in the usual room. Three Groups with locally resident leaders – Chris Foley for the faster group, Steve Dimond & Arthur Renshaw for the other groups for the rest of us.

3. Club London Marathon place

As usual the Club qualifies to get one place in the London Marathon next April. 4. Mince Pie run Wotton-Under-Edge Sunday 22 December

Meeting in the Chippings car park in Wotton GL12 7BD. Christmas outfits encouraged. Anything up to 6 Groups different start times but getting back to the Chippings Car Park by 11:00 for Coffee and mince pies.

These are the Groups we have.

1. The ‘Fast & Furious’ Group. Starting at 08.00 for about 3 hours. Led by Rob Watkins
2. The Ros Group. Starting early 07.00. Intending doing 16 miles. Led by Ros. A version of the Traditional Route
3. The ‘cut down Traditional Route’ Group. Starting at 08.30. About 10 miles Led by Moray Sloan
4. The ‘Hilly & Muddy’ Group. Starting at 08.45. about 7-8 miles. Led by Arthur Renshaw
5. The ‘Steady Run’ Group. Starting at 09.15. 5-6 miles with a few hills. Led by Dave Palmer
6. The ‘More Leisurely’ Group. Starting at 09.30. Walking group dogs allowed. Leader required.
