1. Shoe Try On – May 12^th

Thursday 12th May will be the Club’s first  shoe try on event supported by Saucony Shoes with Up & Running Bristol from 6:30pm. All the details you need are here. Please arrive in good time to get yourself fitted with shoes before the normal run start time at 7:00pm.

2. TRC Annual Party & Awards Night – May 20^th

Last date to buy tickets is 8^th May, as we need to give final number to the Golf Club on 9^th.  Tickets subsidised at £16 person for both Club members and guests. Price includes first drink, sumptuous BBQ, Celebration cake and disco. Purchase ticket/s Annual Party & Awards Night . Any questions thornburyrc@yahoo.com

4. Club Championships

This year we are holding two Club competitions. ‘Club Road Race Championship’ a straight shoot out single race  with trophies for 1st female and male runners.  Plus the ‘Pete Mainstone Challenge’ multi-event competition with both outright and age adjusted female and male winners. The Club Road Race Championship will take place 9:00 am Sunday 22^nd May over the new Thornbury 10k course. This will also serve as a course tester event. The event is for Club members only. The ‘Pete Mainstone Challenge’ will give you the opportunity to select 3 events from a list of 8 over the Club year.  The first event will be the Berkeley 10k Road Race 2022 on 9^th May http://www.dursleyrunningclub.org.uk/berkeley-10k/. 5. Cotswold Way Relay

We now have 19 entries for the CWR https://cotswoldwayrelay.co.uk/ Your place is not secured until you have paid the £10 deposit, 8 people have yet to pay please. We have entered 3 teams – Quickthorn (a vets team of our ten fastest over 40 female or male runners) and two mixed teams Firethorn and Hawthorn (at least 4 female runners per team).  Please Enter here

6. Thornbury 10k Tester Sunday 22^nd May

This event is going to be used for the Club Road Race Championship and we need 8-10 marshals please to be able to run this event. We would like as many people running as possible to make the Club Championship meaningful and to really test the course, please can anyone injured or family & friends be recruited to help out marshalling! 7. Track Update – May

Everyone seems to be enjoying the track session and we have settled into the routine of 2^nd and 4^th. Tuesdays. On 24^th May (4^th Tuesday in May) Bristol & West are hosting an open meeting on the track, so in May we will meet at the track 10^th & 17^th. We are trying to get more details about the open meeting for those interested.
