2. Tuesday Evening Coaching Sessions

Tuesday Intervals Have a New Home! – Hardwicke Playing Fields in Tytherington.

Tuesday evening coaching sessions are now up and running with around 20 runners of all abilities turning out for the first 2 or 3 weeks.

So if you are interested in improving your running, whatever stage you are at or just want to come along for a run with others and see what happens then give it a try.

Whether you’re new to the club, building back from a break, or chasing a PB, these sessions are designed for all abilities. Efforts are based on how you feel, so you’ll work hard at your own level and never be left behind.

The new venue is floodlit and completely away from traffic, so there are no cars, no dodging pedestrians and no dark, uneven pavements to worry about. It’s a safe, well-lit space where everyone can focus on their running, whatever the weather or time of year.

What to expect:
Each session starts with a group warm-up, followed by some running-specific drills to help with form and efficiency. Then it’s on to the main intervals or efforts session, before we finish together with a group cool-down.

When: Every Tuesday, 7pm to 8pm
Where: Hardwicke Playing Fields, Tytherington

Interval training is one of the best ways to get fitter and faster, and it’s a lot more fun (and a lot easier to stick to!) in a group. We’d love to see as many faces as possible, so come along, bring a clubmate, and help us show off everything Thornbury Running Club has to offer.

See you on Tuesday!

Any questions? Contact Nick Williams via the club’s WhatsApp “TRC Tuesday Coaching” group.

Thanks, Nick
