RIVERBANK ROLLICK 2026 – 18th January 10:30 Start

Club members have been fantastic in volunteering for the event, but we still need a few more marshals, car park and water station people. Therefore, if you are willing to do any of these jobs, please complete the online form at https://forms.gle/6FV89V4owZdKnGqR7

We also need a team to bake cakes to sell them at the event centre. Last year the Friends of Castle School sold cakes to fundraise for the school. However, the FCS no longer exists, so we have decided to do it ourselves and raise funds for one of the designated charities for 2026.

If you can bake some cakes, please fill out the form at https://forms.gle/7yTxjeAfALMcWgYF7 and one of our team will be in touch.

Results:

14/12 Gloucester Cross Country at Bath University

No results yet but the women had teams out with Mel Wilson leading in Hannah Hamilton, Ros Rowland, Catherine Dack and Jo Plumbley.

The Over 65 men were one short of a team with one member going to the Cracker instead, no names mentioned CF.  Nick Langridge finished ahead of Arthur Renshaw.

The men had Matt Johnstone, Sam Baimbridge, Martyn Green and Richard Jackson running round.

Special commendation to  Jo and Hannah.  Jo ran a 50K ultra in Wales on Saturday and still turned out for cross country on Sunday.  Meanwhile Hannah was running a Half Marathon in Dubai on Saturday morning, jumped on a flight home for 8 hours and still turned out for a good run at the cross country.  That’s the way to do it, brilliant stuff, well done, both.
