Thornbury Running Club’s first event of 2020, the Riverbank Rollick, was held on Sunday 12th January.

The Riverbank Rollick is 9.6 miles long, and has approx. 120m of ascent and is 80 per cent off-road, on trails, bridle paths, across fields and through woodland.
Important information regarding race day:
- Wear your grippiest offroad shoes.
- The riverbank is very exposed so allow for extra wind chill.
- The Start is 15 min walk/10 minute jog from Race HQ.
- Bring change for donations for Refreshments to go to our nominated local charity Made a Mark.

Entries opened at 19:00 on Friday 1st November and are handled through Full On Sport, where you can also find all the important race detail and information.
We had a new NEW RACE HQ AND REVISED ROUTE for 2019 and this will continue in 2020. The club felt that the better facilities in the Castle School Sports Hall worked much better.
