Update on Membership – Please read this article
We need your help please. We have 126 people renewed, but there are still nearly 70 people who have not renewed or responded. The rate of renewals is slowing down with only 2 this week. Membership costs 48p per week:
• If you intend to renew, and continue to enjoy the benefits of club membership, please can you complete the form and make payment by end April latest. It only takes a couple of minutes.

• If you want to re-join / join but have been furloughed, or effected financially by COVID, please complete the form and you will see we are willing to help financially in this situation.
• If you have not completed the form, because you think you already paid last year, please contact membership@thornburyrunningclub.co.uk We have already contacted the people to whom this applies. If you have not been contacted you are not one of that small group. Everyone needs to complete the form to agree to the new T&Cs.
• If you no longer wish to be part of the club please let us know and we can remove you from our list of members. If we do not hear from you by end April, we will assume this is the situation and remove you from this distribution list to save you receiving unnecessary e-mails from us.
How Much Does it Cost?
At the AGM we go through the club accounts, which remain healthy. But we thought it might be interesting to share some specific items with you so you can see where your membership fee goes.
We continue to incur costs, even when we don’t use the Leisure Centre. A few examples:
• We spend the equivalent of 20 memberships each year on Leader & Coach training, without which we could not run together in Groups.
• We spent the equivalent of 12 memberships on virtual sessions during lock down, not including the Zoom licence cost.
• We spend the equivalent of 12 memberships on subsidising EA membership each year.
• Cotswold Ways Relay entry fee for several TRC teams is the equivalent of 27 memberships
• The fully subsidised Pizza night, we hope to run again in December, is equivalent to 21 memberships
