  1. Riverbank Rollick

A message from the Race Director.  Thank you to the 37 people who have already volunteered to marshal, we are well on the way to the 70 we need. We have 173 members and have so far received 39 responses, please can everyone respond, even if you are not available on the date as this really helps with planning. It only takes 60 seconds and with one list of volunteers I can create a mail merge to send out instructions. Would like to have all the marshal positions sorted by the end of November please. Please remember we need marshals to run this event safely and not to lose any runners! Marshalling is fun and allows the Club to run the fun events – pizza, drinks, chilli etc. Thanks again. ->  RR Link for everyone

  1. London Marathon – Sunday 21st April 2024

The Club has one place for the London Marathon. Any Club Member who wishes to be considered for a Club place must furnish the Secretary with proof of race entry, or of a failed attempt at entry. This may take the form of either a letter sent to the Secretary by the end of November signalling that an attempt at online entry has been made and rejected because entries had already closed, or a rejection letter following the ballot (and copied to the Secretary by not later than the end of November).
