TRC Club Night Tomorrow Thursday 28th June

Due to the football clashing with Club Night tomorrow it has been suggested that If you don’t think you can make it at 7pm some of us are going for a shorter 5k run at 6pm. You’re more than welcome to join us. We will meet at the top of the leisure centre car park – where we meet on a Tuesday evening or where we warm up if that’s too busy.

(This is in addition to the usual club night starting at 7).

I will be at Club tomorrow night hoping to give out as many numbers as possible. If you are going and can pick up the numbers for the others on your leg that would be helpful. Otherwise contact me on Friday  if you don’t know what’s happening.

The 30th is drawing closer and I know fellow runners have been doing their final Recce’s. The weather looks fair (no rain!) but make sure you have plenty of water as the weather will be hot! The list of Thornbury Runners and the various legs have changed between the original version we posted on the Website and now, but hopefully by tonight that table will have been updated so you can check all is ok.

The Full Team list should confirm what you already know and by now you should have sorted your transport out of how you are going to get to the start and be collected from the finish. If you haven’t now is the time to do it!!

Please also let your Team Leads have your mobile numbers for H&S purposes – we want to make sure you are all back safe and sound and it’s the Team Leads responsibility to check you are!!  I know Judy has asked but we are still missing some numbers. Mine and Judy’s number is on the website and Kevin’s/Rob’s  numbers you should have already.

And finally as Judy says ‘you are not to get injured between now and the 30th’!

Even more importantly, enjoy the day and especially the party afterwards which Arthur, Kathy and Suzy are organising!
