Even though we don’t ask you for money on a Club night we still need you to sign in – just so we know how many people we have and as a check if we think we have lost anyone! PLEASE SIGN IN ON A THURSDAY.

Tonight Thurs 10th Jan is the first of the Running Techniques sessions – those of you whom expressed an interest in this will have been e-mailed individually by Jim Godden. We will start in the Thornbury Leisure Centre Filnore Suite at 7.30pm. There will be a short theory session after which we will then go to the car park for the workshop. It will end with a short mop up session back in the Filnore Suite, finishing at 9.30pm. Please wear normal running kit including a warm top as you may be standing around outside for short periods. If you cannot attend on the 10th I may be able to swop you with someone on the 17th, so please email me back if that is the case. The club is paying per person for the event so please don’t waste your allocated place.

The Riverbank Rollick is on Sunday. Pick up your Marshall bibs, Instructions and refuse sacks from your Section Leaders tonight . Opportunity to ask any questions particularly if you don’t know your allocated position or what you have to do or at what time. Please check your e-mail in box as info has been sent out this week to all of you who have volunteered. Fancy Dress for the Marshals is preferred but not compulsory! Let’s make sure the 500 runners have a great event and they all want to come back next year. Finally please use the refuse sacksgiven to you and clear the course of any litter, tape & signs and please come back back to the Castle School Sports Centre for you tea and cakes!
