Please wear a Hi-Viz top for your safety as it is getting dark by the time we get back. For Rockhampton you should also wear a head torch as the route will be on unlit lanes and may be off road.

1. Mental Health Champions update: Run & Talk & Rehydrate.
This Thursday Club Night will start and finish at Rockhampton CC (new ground) and the committee have again agreed to put money behind the bar for everyone’s first drink. The winter is fast approaching so we realise that the light will be fading and runs will finish in the dark so hi viz and lights will be needed. Address: Rockhampton Cricket Club. 2. Club Dinner Dance?
We are asking for your views on holding the club dinner dance in early January or at the club year end in March / April. Full detail are explained in the poll. Please let us know which option by 24th September using the link: Club Dinner Dance 2022

3. Gloucester Cross Country League
Fantastic response, we have 35 replies so far. If you are interested in taking part in cross country please register your interest using the link below by 24/9. We have the opportunity to do a block booking, which saves money for the club. If you are NOT on the list we will assume you are not interested in cross country. 4. London Marathon
Eight TRC members are running London Marathon on 3rd October – (alphabetic order) Ali, Chris, George, Kevin, Mike, Paul, Sarah and Sonya. I hope I have not missed anyone! Three are running for a charity and would really appreciate your support. Details of the charity for whom they are each running (in alphabetic order):

6. parkrun of the Month – 2nd October
The October parkrun of the month (first Saturday of the month) will be Saturday 2nd October @ Chipping Sodbury. Some of the current crop of runners participating in the beginners course will be running their first 5k at this parkrun, or Thornbury on the previous Saturday, so please lend your support.
