As Mental Health Champions of TRC, we want to encourage everyone to get out there and get running to support this!
Our aim is simply to raise awareness of mental health issues, and recognise the positive impact running can have to combat issues related to this which we may face in our everyday lives. This is especially important at the moment when things are so tough for us all during this lockdown.
It can be difficult to motivate yourself to get out and run sometimes as we all know, but some words of wisdom I once heard (from some equally crazy running enthusiast!) is that you never regret a run. It is so true.
So if you manage to arrange to get out for a run with a friend or running buddy on Thursday 4th, please help us in our mission by tagging your run on strava with #timetotalk.
