Stroud 10k started in the town centre before heading off-road into the Cotswold hills. Due to some lacklustre course marking, Mike Bennewitz and several of his fellow runners found themselves in no man’s land and searching for the course. Thanks to a kindly runner from Cirencester with a keen sense of direction, Mike got back on track and finished in 16th overall and 3rd in the MV60 with a time of 1 hour 07:34 mins.

A couple of results which escaped last week’s report was Julie Taylor and Pamela MacLeod in the Bristol 10k. Julie finished in 7964th place in 1 hour 6:44 mins and Pamela finished her first 10k in 9148th place 1 hour 13:52 mins.
