  1. TRC Annual Party & Awards Night – May 20th

Our first chance for a full social in over 2 years, please join us. Only 5 weeks until the Club party at Thornbury Golf Club. Tickets subsidised at £16 person for both Club members and guests.   1. Cotswold Way Relay

For those new to TRC the Cotswold Way Relay is a very popular event with members. The event is a 103 miles, 10 Stages, off-road race through the Cotswolds from Chipping Campden to Bath run in teams of 10 people https://cotswoldwayrelay.co.uk/ We have entered 3 teams – Quickthorn (a vets team of our ten fastest over 40 female or male runners) and two mixed teams Firethorn and Hawthorn (at least 4 female runners per team). Entry is free for members. The Club’s entry process this year has been changed based on experience over the past few years and is similar to what we use for Cross Country (see link below). If we become oversubscribed we will work on a first come first served basis. Please Enter here

  1. Jan Burke

Jan and Wilf Burke were members for many years until they moved temporarily to France in 2016. Many the long standing members will remember Jan as she was a very active member – having run 15 Marathons and cycled Le Jog. Jan was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last October. It is a progressive disease and is currently affecting her breathing, speaking and eating.
