This fixture started in 2010 and has been held a number of times with either Thornbury or Chepstow hosting the event.

In a mob match every runner counts, as everyone finishing receives a score. Scoring is in descending order, so if there are 90 runners the first in scores 90, second scores 89 down to 90th scores 1 point. All the points are added up and the winner is the team with the most points. Simple!

As you can see, if everyone counts there is a big advantage in have more runners out than the opposition. A great encouragement for everyone to join in and influence the result in favour of TRC

The TRC fixture has in the past started from the Anchor in Oldbury and involved two and a half kilometres out on the Severn Walkway Path and back again.  The Chepstow fixture has been run over the  Severn Bridge and back.

After the race the hosting club typcially lays on a spread for the after race celebrations, so a good night out.
